Case Study
From 15 Vendors to One Partner: Untangling a DSO's Website Chaos
We consolidated 27 of 37 practice websites from 15 different vendors into one managed portfolio, giving their marketing leader her bandwidth back.
The Problem
Premier Dental Partners had 37 practice websites scattered across 15 different vendors, the natural result of years of acquisitions. Their marketing team had backend access to only 17 of the 37 sites and DNS control for just 17. When a location needed a simple update (new hours, a provider bio, an added service), the marketing director had to figure out which vendor managed that site, dig up credentials that may or may not work, and navigate whatever process that vendor required. Meanwhile, regional managers and office staff were pinging her directly, adding to an already overflowing inbox.
What We Did
Over several months, we methodically worked through the tangle. We tracked down credentials, negotiated access with vendors, recovered DNS control, and migrated sites to consolidated hosting under our management. For offices with existing vendor contracts not yet expired, we documented the status and built a transition plan for when those situations resolve.
